One new draft counts as one document

Create a literature review, academic report, or grant proposal. Revisions and Studio edits inside that draft are unlimited. There are no credits or tokens to track. Each draft uses your plan's reference limit (up to 20 on Starter, 35 on Scholar, and 50 on Fellowship).

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers on pricing, allowances, subscriptions, and security.

Is there a free plan or free trial?
Yes. Starter includes one free literature review, lifetime, with up to 20 references and full citation tracing. No credit card is required to begin drafting.
How does document counting work?
You only use a document allowance when generating a brand-new draft. Unlimited revisions, targeted AI Studio edits, BibTeX/LaTeX exports, and section rewrites inside an existing document do not count against your limit.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time directly from your billing dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, while cancellations remain active through the end of your prepaid billing period.
How is payment and billing handled?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe with 256-bit encryption. We accept all major credit cards and provide automated downloadable receipts and invoices.
What export formats are available on each plan?
Starter includes watermarked PDF exports. Scholar unlocks clean PDF and editable DOCX (Word). Fellowship includes PDF, DOCX, LaTeX source archives, and BibTeX bibliographies.
Do you offer team, lab, or institutional plans?
Yes. We offer custom volume licensing, dedicated shared team workspaces, invoice billing, and custom SLAs for academic departments and research labs. Contact our sales team for institutional setup.

Who builds UktubAI

UktubAI is built by Mahmoud Sallam, an AI engineer in Montreal with an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University and peer-reviewed work published through IEEE, including the IEEE Internet of Things Journal and the IEEE Systems Journal. The tool exists because writing a literature review by hand is slow in ways that have nothing to do with thinking.

You can read the published record on Google Scholar, and reach a real person at [email protected].

Your sources and drafts stay in your own account, are not visible to other users, and are not used to train models. Documents export to PDF, DOCX, LaTeX, and BibTeX whenever you want them, so your work leaves with you if you stop paying.
